Program Description

Hunting and Fishing the World with Jorge Pacheco is the first of its kind television programming series produced in Spanish, designed to introduce the Hispanic community to the world of hunting and fishing all the while celebrating our great cultural heritage.

Our host Jorge Pacheco, Salvadorian by birth, has great experience in the world of hunting and fishing, knows the Latin culture and its people. Unlike many programs presented to Hispanics that are simply translated from English without a natural cultural element, our program, completely Hispanic, will integrate the language, talent, voice, music, host and a production team who recognizes the need to maintain cultural authenticity.

Each episode will take the audience through a captivating real-world adventure and reveal the struggles and challenges Jorge endures in pursuit of the fish or game, sharing the experiences with family and friends which are of great importance to all Hispanics.

A wide variety of techniques and tactics will be used in the planning, preparation and execution of the adventures, communicated in an educational and informative manner to teach the viewer the hunting and fishing skills needed to be successful.

Locational emphasis will consist of both exotic places of great natural beauty far from the beaten path as well as often over looked opportunities afforded to large population groups in metropolitan areas.

Hunting and Fishing the World with Jorge Pacheco will air on ESPN Deportes. The series will consist of 13 original 1/2 hour episodes with an airtime schedule for 26 weeks.
